Teams: Join a meeting with digital meeting ID

From May you will be able to invite attendees to a Teams meeting via a new digital ID
Microsoft will begin rolling out the release of the digital meeting ID which will provide an additional way for users to join a Microsoft Teams meeting.

By the end of May 2021, when the roll out is expected to be completed, all meetings will have a Meeting ID that is automatically assigned to a Microsoft Teams user and added to the meeting invite under the meeting link.

Attendees wanting to join the meeting can enter by using the Meeting ID.

The pre-join, lobby and security will remain the same.
