Second Covid-19 vaccinations to be held in Mass Vaccination Centres

1141 days ago

From this week (week commencing 1 March), people due their second COVID-19 vaccination will be invited to attend their nearest mass vaccination centre, based on the location of their GP practice.

Further information about these venues can be found on the Hywel Dda University Health Board website

Appointments have now been provided to everyone who received their first vaccine before 10 January.

Please only call the Health Board if you need to rearrange your appointment or if you received your first vaccine before 10 January and have not yet received an appointment. You can also do this by emailing COVIDenquiries.hdd@wales.nhs.uk

Second dose appointment letters are being issued in rolling batches, chronologically.

Staff in priority groups 1 and 2 who have contacted the health board and have been added to a reserve list to receive either their first or second dose are reminded they will be contacted by a withheld phone number. No message will be left. If you are on the reserve list, please make every effort to answer any withheld call to avoid any delay in receiving your appointment.

It is important to have both doses of the vaccine to give you the best longer-term protection. Please make every effort to attend the appointment provided.

Once you have received both vaccine doses, you must continue to follow the guidance in place, including wearing the correct personal protection equipment and continue to follow current advice and guidance.
