This framework sets out the Council’s approach to monitoring and managing performance. The aim of the Framework is to keep the Council on track and focused on delivery of its Corporate Strategy, by providing councillors, managers and staff with the information and tools they need to deliver high-quality and high-performing services which help to achieve good outcomes for residents.
- To provide an overview of the Council’s Performance Management Framework, driven by the Council Corporate Strategy, and how it works in practice.
- To outline how the requirements of the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 are embedded across the Council as part of performance management and decision making (including the sustainable development principle, five ways of working and national goals).
- To outline how the requirements of the Local Government and Elections Act 2021 relating to performance are implemented by the Council.
