Who is it aimed at?
Domiciliary and residential staff both internal and external
What are the objectives?
By the end of the course participants will understand:
- What is dignity?
- What do social care law, guidance & good practice frameworks etc say about dignity?
- In social care situations, what may promote /diminish dignity?
- How dignity can be affected by organisational & workplace culture / physical environment / attitudes and behaviour / language etc
- How might people feel when dignity is present / absent?
- Some practical things we can / should do to deliver social care support with dignity
How will it make a difference?
