Launching new Microsoft Teams

From Sunday, March 31 we will be transitioning to the new Microsoft Teams experience across the organisation. 

What’s different in the new Teams? 

• Enhanced Features - The new Teams experience comes packed with exciting new features that will help us work smarter and more efficiently together. From improved file sharing to enhanced meeting controls, there's something for everyone to benefit from.
   
• Improved Performance - Say goodbye to lagging load times and hello to a smoother, faster experience. The new Teams interface is optimized for speed, ensuring that you can access everything you need without any delays.
   
• Tighter Security - With the new Teams experience, they have introduced additional security measures to keep data safe and secure.
   
• Seamless Integration - One of the best things about the new Teams experience is its seamless integration with other Microsoft 365 apps and services. Whether you're collaborating on documents in SharePoint or scheduling meetings in Outlook, everything will work together seamlessly.
   
• User-Friendly Interface – The new Teams interface is more intuitive and user-friendly than ever before. Navigating the platform will be a breeze, allowing you to focus on what matters most – getting work done.

What do I need to do for the new Teams? 
The upgrade process will commence behind the scenes as you continue to work.  
 
When the new platform is available for use, you will receive the following prompt. You can choose to make the transition when convenient - and that’s it!
