Pre-election period has started

As of today (Monday, March 23) we are in the pre-election period for the Senedd Election on May 7.
To support members and staff during this period, we have published pre-election guidance.
The guidance covers matters like publicity, engagements, announcements and briefings, and how these should be managed during the pre-election period.
It also advises around use of council resources, correspondence with candidates, meetings and use of council buildings.
Please note that the guidance applies to all Council members, employees and contractors undertaking work on behalf of the Council.
