Introduction to Carmarthenshire County Council & Launch of Induction Programme

Objectives:
- To outline the main functions of the Council and of the responsibilities of each service;
- To provide an overview of the organisation and its key functions;
- To gain an understanding of the principal strategies and the vision for service delivery for Carmarthenshire;
- To receive further information on the arrangements for the Induction/Refresher Programme for Councillors.
The session will consist of:
- Presentation by Chief Executive;
- Individual overview sessions with each Department;
- Question and Answer session;
- Opportunity to meet Officers from Democratic and Member Services;
- An opportunity to network with other Councillors and Officers.
