Monitoring this policy and procedure

Departments must ensure that when managing redundancies, they are not unnecessarily impacting disproportionately on particular groups of employees, e.g. female, disabled, older and ethnic minority employees. An integrated impact assessment should be carried out as part of the redundancy planning process.

Monitoring systems will be set up corporately to monitor dismissals on the grounds of redundancy.
