Time to Talk Day

We all have mental health, by talking about it, you can support yourself and others in maintaining a positive state of wellbeing.
What is Time to Talk Day?
Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation and it is taking place on Thursday, 6th February 2025. This day is all about opening up and creating supportive communities within your friends, families, workplaces and colleagues, it is a day to come together to talk, listen and change lives.
Why is talking important?
It’s never been more important to talk about our mental health.
- Talking is not a sign of weakness
- Talking reduces stigma
- Improves relationships
- Aids recovery
- Talking helps you feel safe
- Feel empowered to seek help when you need it
- Just listening to someone can help them feel supported and less alone. It’s a part of taking charge of your wellbeing and doing what you can to stay healthy.
When one person speaks out, others will join.
Please join the Health and Wellbeing Team on the 6th February 2025 at 12:30 via Teams. We will be having an open discussion about mental health and how you can incorporate these discussions within your teams.
