Staying Connected: Hobbies and Interest Groups

Doing activities with likeminded people, can not only help make them fun, give you a routine as well as accountability, but it can also help keep you connected. It will help keep us physically and mentally well and give us energy and focus.

Therefore, we want to gather ideas from those of you who have already formed book clubs, virtual walking groups, knit and natters, men’s sheds, dancing groups, quiz groups, either in your team or wider. We can then either use these ideas to inspire others to set up something similar with their team / friends, or, if you are happy for others to join you, increasing your membership.

We would also like to hear from you if you have a particular interest and would like to set up a group of your own, but don’t know where to start or who to link in with. With this information we will try and match you to likeminded people who can help you get started.
