New Accident / Incident Reporting Form – Now Live

The new Accident & Incident System is now live. The newly developed form will improve how accidents/incidents at work are reported. For the first time employees can now self-report accidents/incidents online. The improvements made will:

·       Enable anyone with a work email address to self-report a near miss, injury or violence/aggression incident online.

·       Separate the reporting of different types of accidents / incidents to make it easier. For example, you will be able to report an incident of violence and aggression without having to complete unnecessary sections.

·       Assist in increasing the number of reports of near miss incidents and hazards with the potential to cause harm.

·       Continue to allow line managers / nominated reporters to log accidents / incidents on behalf of their service, team members, visitors, pupils, residents, service users or non-employees such as volunteers etc.

We encourage all employees, regardless of their role, to report ALL accidents, incidents, injuries, near misses, violence, aggression, abuse or harassment. By reporting you are helping us to continually improve our health, safety and wellbeing standards and prevent future injuries or ill health.
