ILM Level 3: Certificate in Principals of Leadership & Management

Who is it aimed at?

If you are a junior manager or aspiring to be one, this course will help you develop and understand your role and help you apply principles and methods within your role and develop as a leader. 

 

What are the objectives?

The course provides you with the underlying principles of management and is a good foundation for individuals looking to further progress in their career.

Learning units include:

  •  Understanding leadership
  •  Solving problems and making decisions
  •  Understanding how to motivate to improve performance
  •  Understanding the management role to improve management performance
  •  Managing risk in the workplace
  •  Planning change in the workplace

Students have access to learning materials via the college’s online supporting Google Classrooms and digital library. In addition to this they have allocated tutor support and one to one set tutorials to aid students before they submit work digitally online.

If you work for Carmarthenshire County Council (CCC) and are logged into a CCC device – PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone, complete this application form.

If you work for the Council but do NOT have access to a CCC device or an email address your line manager will need to apply on your behalf.

Council employees cannot apply for any courses from their own personal device.


Partners, agency staff or people who do not work for the Council cannot apply for this course.
