Can I use Thinqi on my mobile?
Yes! Thinqi works on mobile devices and modern web browsers, so you can learn on the go. On a CCC device connected to the council network, you can log in using Single Sign-On.
How do I get a password for team members without a CCC email?
Email the Learning and Development team with the team member’s name and National Insurance number. They will receive their first password, which they can use with their NI number to log in. For security, passwords are only sent to the manager’s work email, not the employee directly.
I can’t log in - what should I do?
- Using Single Sign-On? Make sure you’re on a council device and connected to the CCC network.
- Using username and password? Click Forgotten your password? and enter your work email to reset it.
- No work email? Ask your line manager to contact Learning and Development for the first password.
- Still having issues? Email the L&D Team with your work email or NI number and a description of the problem. The team will help you.
The team members showing under the People icon are incorrect - what should I do?
Thinqi gets team information from ResourceLink, so it’s important this is up to date. Contact Resource Link if you notice any discrepancies.
A team member is transferring from another CCC post - do they need new Thinqi access?
No. Once the transfer is processed in ResourceLink, Thinqi will update their details automatically overnight. Changes won’t appear in Thinqi before the new role’s start date.
I’ve recruited a new team member - how do I give them Thinqi access?
Submit the commencement form promptly or this may delay access. If they’ll have a work email, request New User access via ICT Self-Service. Once these have been processed, Thinqi will automatically create their account (up to 7 working days before the start date) and assign Essential Learning. You can then add any role-specific learning.
Can temporary or agency staff access Thinqi?
Yes. You can request Thinqi accounts for agency staff or students by completing the account request form.
The e-learning I’m trying to complete shows an error. Should I try again later?
Please report the issue to Learning and Development. Including a screenshot helps us fix it faster.
Can I add learning I completed in a previous role to my record?
Yes. Go to My Learning → CPD Record to add prior learning. Once submitted, your manager will be notified for approval.
Why isn’t all my prior learning showing in Thinqi?
Any prior learning not shown on Thinqi can still be accessed via “training” in MyView.
I’ve finished an e-learning module, but my badge hasn’t appeared. What should I do?
Make sure you clicked Start Badge to enrol. Thinqi will then recognise completion and award the badge.
Who do I contact about adding training provided by our department to Thinqi?
Email Learning and Development. A member of the team will get in touch.
