Health & Wellbeing - Training and Support
1354 days ago
Following on from World Mental Health Day, we want to continue the conversation and raise further awareness of the support available within the authority. We have a plethora of support and resources on our Intranet pages, from information and advice on improving stress and mental health, as well as many links to charities and support services.
If you are passionate about mental health advocacy and helping end stigma, why not sign up to join our growing network of Mental Health First Aiders. Our next course begins 16th November, but there are a limited number of spaces available, so don’t miss out!
This week, Carmarthenshire Libraries are also running sessions for Get Online Week. They are promoting their e-books and e-audio books, with an emphasis on their Health and Wellbeing collections. You can access e-books and e-audio books 24/7 for free as a member of Carmarthenshire Libraries via the Borrowbox app or website using your Library card number and PIN.
We all know that looking after ourselves and our wellbeing is key to supporting good Mental Health. Therefore, if you are looking to start your journey to better health, our Health and Wellbeing pages have a wealth of information, as well as tools and resources to encourage and support healthy lifestyles.
