Menopause Presentation

Menopause is a natural and temporary stage in women’s lives and not all women experience significant symptoms. Historically, menopause has been regarded as a taboo subject, but this is changing. Employers are now acknowledging the potential impact of the menopause on women and are becoming more aware of the simple steps they can take to be supportive.

In acknowledgement of World Menopause Day, on Thursday 28th of October at 12:30, there will be a talk on menopause, given by our very own Health and Wellbeing Champion, Gillian Grennan-Jenkins. The talk will last approximately forty-five minutes, and there will be a chance to ask questions.

We encourage everyone to attend the talk, as it is an excellent opportunity for not only individuals experiencing symptoms but also for managers and colleagues to understand the process and symptoms of menopause, in order to provide the best support to those who need it.

The link can be found on our Events and Activities page.
