What are the objectives?
A psychology approach to understanding people's response to change and how to effectively lead them through it.
By the end of the session you should be able to:
- Understand different types of change
- Understand people’s psychological responses to change (cognitive, social, communication)
- Identify practical steps to effectively lead people through change
How will it make a difference?
This course helps us to understand change as more than just a process.
By understanding the psychology of how and why people respond to change, we can better support and lead staff through change.

How to apply:
If you work for Carmarthenshire County Council (CCC) and are logged into a CCC device – PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone, complete this application form.
If you work for the Council but do NOT have access to a CCC device or an email address your line manager will need to apply on your behalf.
Council employees cannot apply for any courses from their own personal device.
Partners, agency staff or people who do not work for the Council cannot apply for this course.
