You've probably heard the term "healthcare cash plan" before, but what does it mean?

A healthcare cash plan is designed to help with the cost of everyday healthcare expenses, reimbursing you for eligible treatments such as dental check-ups, eye care, physiotherapy and other routine healthcare services. This differs from private health insurance, which typically covers the cost of private medical treatment, consultations and hospital care.

Many people don't realise how much they spend each year on things like:

  • Dental check-ups

  • Optical

  • Physiotherapy appointments

  • Counselling appointments

A healthcare cash plan helps reduce these out-of-pocket costs by providing cashback towards eligible healthcare expenses, up to your plan limits.

The aim is simple: to make looking after your health simple and affordable.

Starting at £6.28 per month, WHA Healthcare offer two different cash plans that are tailored to suit Carmarthenshire employees. Did you know this is something you can deduct directly from your payroll?
