Health & Wellbeing Fayre

29 September – 8 October

We’re excited to announce our upcoming Health & Wellbeing Fayre, taking place from 29 September to 8 October, with a fantastic programme of sessions designed to support your health, wellbeing and everyday life.

The Fayre is open to all Carmarthenshire County Council staff, and we’re delighted to welcome a range of wonderful guest speakers and organisations who will be sharing their knowledge, advice and practical support with you.

There will be something for everyone, with sessions covering a range of physical, emotional and personal wellbeing topics, including:

Diet & Nutrition

Practical advice on healthy eating, maintaining energy levels and supporting your wellbeing through everyday nutrition.

Mindfulness

Simple and practical techniques to help reduce stress, improve focus and support your wellbeing both at work and at home.

 Fertility & Endometriosis

Information and awareness around fertility and endometriosis, including how these experiences can affect people both at work and at home, and the support available.

Grief Awareness with Marie Curie

Helping staff and managers better understand grief, its potential impact in the workplace and how we can provide appropriate support to colleagues experiencing bereavement.

 Accessible to Everyone

We want to make the Fayre as accessible as possible, so all sessions will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams. This means you can join from wherever you are working, without needing to travel.

Sessions will also be recorded, where appropriate, so if you’re unable to attend live, you’ll still have the opportunity to access the information afterwards.

Keep an eye out for the full programme of sessions and joining details, which are available here.

We hope you’ll take the opportunity to join us, learn something new and make your wellbeing a priority. We look forward to seeing you there!
