A vital part of your role as a councillor is the chairing of various types of meetings, from public meetings and partnership boards to informal council committees. This eLearning module will help you learn some of the basic skills required for the task, as well a selection of valuable tips to help you through potentially sticky moments.
Using case studies set at the council of the virtual town of Tref Rhithwir, this module will walk you through the process step by step, from the preparation you will need to undertake through running the meeting and then voting and drawing the meeting to a close.
