What’s changing and when?

 

We’re moving to the CX Housing Management System over the next few weeks, providing a modern, streamlined way to manage housing services.

 

Final go live decision: 13 May 2026

OHMS read only from: 19 June 2026

Go Live Phase 1 Launch: 29 June 2026

 

The system will be implemented through a phased launch, with the initial Go Live structured into the following phases:

Phase 1: 29 June 2026

  • Housing rents

Phase 2: 30 June 2026

  • Voids
  • Tenancy management to include Sheltered Schemes, Tyisha, Temporary
  • Accommodation and Simple Lettings.
  • Pre-tenancy

Phase 3: 1, 2 and 3 July 2026

  • Mutual exchange
  • Business support
  • Contact centre
  • All other housing staff (where access is needed to view rent accounts, check tenancy details, etc.)

Phase 4: 6 July 2026

  • Anti-social behaviour
  • Estate management

Phase 5: to follow

  • Housing repairs

Further information will be shared with relevant staff over the coming weeks.

A range of support is available to assist staff with the transition to the new system, including:

 

ThinQi training materials, which are mandatory for all staff and must be completed to ensure familiarity with the system.

Floor walkers, who will be available on 30th of June and the 1st of July to provide hands on support for the Housing Rents and Tenancy Support teams.

A network of Super Users has been established across the organisation to provide ongoing guidance and support.

CX Housing – System FAQs

CX Housing is the new Housing Management System replacing OHMS, designed to provide a more modern and streamlined way to manage housing services. The system will be used to manage core housing functions such as income, voids, the day-to-day tenancy management, officer case management and integration with other housing systems.

CX Housing will initially be used by all staff who previously had access to OHMS, with access extended to additional staff across the housing division as the phased rollout progresses.

Yes – once your team goes live, CX Housing must be used for all housing management activity, and OHMS will no longer be used operationally. 

No – CX Housing uses single sign-on (SSO), so you do not need a separate username or password to access the system. You will log in using your normal network credentials.

Your access will remain the same as in OHMS unless you are advised otherwise.

No – CX Housing replaces OHMS for operational work. OHMS will only be available in read-only from 19th June and will not be used going forward. During this period, you will still be able to view information, but no updates can be made.

Yes – historical information will be available via OHMS in read-only mode during the transition period.

Guidance, FAQs and updates will be available on the CX Housing intranet page, which is the main source of information.

From 29th June, NEC DM (Info@Work) will be made read-only. All new documents will be saved and managed within CX Housing going forward.

Yes – read-only access will remain available so you can view historic documents or retrieve them if required.
