Many of you express pride in working for Carmarthenshire County Council and would recommend us as an employer. You appreciate the ability to speak openly and recognise the Council's commitment to equality. Additionally, you feel valued and believe your wellbeing is considered. However, not everyone is having the same experience, and your feedback has highlighted areas where we need to do some further work:

We Listened: We have doubled our efforts by investing further in our Corporate Health and Wellbeing team, dedicated to fostering a supportive and healthy work environment. This team offers an array of workshops, tools, and confidential mental health support to ensure everyone can thrive. Our regular wellbeing workshops cover essential topics such as stress management, nutrition, and physical activity, providing valuable insights and practical tips. Additionally, our trained Health & Wellbeing Champions actively advocate for health and wellbeing within their teams and departments. To discover more, visit our Health & Wellbeing intranet pages.
