Network services issues (Tuesday, 20 October)

Google experienced a major incident affecting network services across the UK and Europe today (Tuesday, 20 October). This affected one of the Council’s key external IT suppliers.
As a result, staff may have experienced intermittent connectivity and printing issues. We worked with our suppliers to restore services as quickly as possible.
There is currently no indication that the issue has increased the security risk to, or compromised, Council IT systems.
