Climate change e-learning modules

Carmarthenshire County Council has declared both a climate and nature emergency and is wholly committed to the target of becoming a Net Zero Carbon local Authority. Every staff member has a responsibility to play their part in ensuring that the Council achieves this target.

A new series of e-learning modules has been developed to help facilitate your understanding of climate change and the key areas surrounding this topic. They have been created and brought to you in collaboration with the other local authorities which make up the Swansea Bay City Region.

This series of e-learning modules covers the following topic areas:

• Climate change and the nature emergency
  
• Energy basics
  
• Renewable energy
  
• Transport

There is also a mini module included which provides a Carmarthenshire County Council context on a number of features being undertaken in these key areas to enable us to fulfil our commitment of achieving Net Zero Carbon by 2030.
