Recruiting an Agency Worker
Page updated: 20/03/2024
It is understood that there are circumstances which may necessitate a service manager to bolster their workforce with additional short -term support. Examples of when this support may be required could include cover for periods of unforeseen absence, a significant increase in workload, or specialised projects. In such instances, engaging workers through a recruitment agency can be an appropriate and efficient solution.
This page highlights how to recruit an agency worker through our neutral vendor arrangement with Matrix. Matrix is not an agency but operate as a Managed Service Provider which means they will receive the request for a worker and make this request available to their supplier agencies.
A dedicated Customer Success Executive from Matrix, Reece Watson, will be on hand to answer any questions and assist with your use of Matrix-CR.net. You can contact Reece and Matrix on:
• 0844 770 0582 – standard network charges apply
• Carmarthenshire@teammatrix.com
• Queries log on Matrix-CR.net
• Online Live Support chat function
Additionally, the Matrix Operations team is available round-the-clock to provide support and guidance in maximizing your usage of Matrix-CR.net.
Please note that recruiting through an agency should be considered a last resort, and approval will be required to proceed with this option. If you have any internal queries, please contact Rob Young (HR Manager) rmyoung@carmarthenshire.gov.uk or Georgia Reynolds (Assistant HR Business Partner) greynolds@carmarthenshire.gov.uk
