A suggested reporting framework is provided if require a more detailed plan.

Use this tool to capture the workforce planning and learning activities that emerge from the assessment process. As a minimum include:

  • A narrative to explain the key changes to your service and what this will mean for the workforce over the business planning period.
  • The actions that are to be taken to respond to these and an identification of the learning and development needs to inform the corporate learning and development framework.

    Key questions to be answered:
  • What future workforce priorities are based on your supply and demand analysis?
  • What are the service’s learning and development needs?
  • What are the specific actions required to deliver each priority?
  • Who is responsible for delivering each action?
  • Who else needs to be involved?
  • What are the periods for delivery?
