ResourceLink / MyView
Page updated: 03/03/2023
We operate an integrated HR/Payroll system – ResourceLink which records all your details from the time you are appointed. Your personal details, career history, pay, training, performance and other related information will be securely retained and updates on this system.
Keeping your personal details up to date will be your responsibility and you will be asked to validate this information from time to time, usually at the time of your appraisal or when logging on the Employee Self Service facility (MyView).
MyView (Self Service) is a web-based module of ResourceLink and its rollout across the council is an integral part of the People Strategy. The module allows you to carry out tasks such as a change of address, requesting annual leave or viewing a payslip online from your own device(s). Similarly, your line Manager can view relevant details about you, your post and make online authorisations.
Guidance is available below on downloading the MyView App to your mobile phone or other handheld devices.
MyView is now available within all divisions, arrangement will be made for you to have access during your Onboarding / induction period with on-line support. The system is both secure and easy to use and will in time form the basis of all transactions requiring authorisation between you and your Manager.
Support and advice regarding your personal details and access to MyView should in the first instance be referred to your manager. The ResourceLink Team can be emailed on: Resourcelink@carmarthenshire.gov.uk .
Please refer to the Absence Screens for guidance on inputting Sickness and Other absences.
Guidance notes are available to download below for different functionality available within MyView.
